If you notice a snake in your house, shed, yard or property:

Remain calm and relax.

Snakes are far more afraid of you. If startled they just want to be left alone to go about their business. Given the chance a snake will always try to avoid human contact and look for somewhere to escape.

If possible keep your children, pets and livestock away.

This will not only keep your children and animals safe, it will allow the snake to be the least amount threatened and less likely to behave in an unpredictable manner.

Call Eurobodalla Snake Catcher on 0404 110 368.

Watch the snake from the safest distance possible:

This will allow you to keep an eye on where the snake is hiding or moving towards. When we arrive you can then direct us to the snake for its safe capture and removal.

Call out fees apply.

Snakes are protected under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 and only a licensed and insured professional handler is permitted to remove the animal from your home or property. Call out fees apply for our catch and relocation service.

Brendan has always had an inquisitive interest in snakes, reptiles and the outdoors from a young age. He has an extremely strong passion for Australia’s endemic snake and reptile species along with all other species of Australian fauna and flora. His main objective is to promote awareness, education and conservation through facts and behavioural evidence to help change the public’s negative view and perspective on snakes and the bad reputation they are given through fear, false information and misunderstanding. This is what has led Brendan into the snake catching profession.
